How she felt

It was an Autumn week
a day windy and undergone
she didn't go to school
instead she walked alone.

clutching her arms to herself
she walked all through the streets
to find that everyone knew
about her weaknesses and defeats.

she tried so hard to fit in
but no one would accept
she looked down to the ground
tears ran as she wept.

she made it to the fields
where she could be alone
she leaned against a tree
and all her emotions flown.

the sky was dark and gray
no voice would ever tell
she felt her pain get heavier
courage sunk low as well.

she looked up to the sky
and screamed so very loud
her words would echo so so far
her face was feeling mild.

complexion getting paler
as the night went on
her sickness taking over
come morning she might be gone.

she did lay there all night long
and woke up to the dawn
an angel then came for her
and suddenly she was gone.

many weeks went by
and police began to scout
this wouldn't be happening
if they only knew how she felt.
