Falling

by Daisha   Mar 21, 2007

She falls broken to the ground,

Desperately screaming for who she thought he was.

Save me, she screams. Save me from myself.

Maybe someday he will care.

But will that day be too late?

When a heart is destroyed, it can't be perfect again.

He will always exist in her memories, but memories fade.

His name is emblazoned upon her heart.

The thread of life is thinning,

She clutches at it in desperation,

Pleading the world to keep spinning.
