Sweet sunshine

by bethany   Mar 21, 2007

What would you do if the sun said no?
If the sun just left
without saying goodbye
Maybe it went to the moon
To share it's precious light
Maybe it went to Pluto
To get cooled down
What would you do?
Without those warm rays
Without the colored skies
Without your natural tan
...
On the other hand...
Forget the sunburns
...and that awful risk of skin cancer
Not to forget that too hot weather is out of the
question
The way I see it
We'd be absolutely lost
Without the comforting rays
To peirce through the clouds
Just to reach out trembling feet
Where would we be
if we didn't have
that bright heat
beating down on our closed eyelids
That perfectly hot air surrounding us
as we skip rocks
on the calm, motionless sea
What would you do?

    Very peaceful.
Although it raised some interesting questions, i still got the full effect of the sun =)
