I've learnt

I've learnt that cutting,
Doesn't solve the problem.
Really it's making,
Everything worse.

It shows you've got weaknesses,
And no inner strength.
It shows you have no shame,
And will go to any length.

You are looked down on,
And talked about.
Ridiculed,
And shamed out.

But after a while,
You learn to deal with it.
Even with the smile,
You can't hide this bit.

So you choose to ignore it,
Pretend no one see's.
Tell them they are wrong,
And ignore their helpful pleas.

I've learnt that starting,
Was the wrong thing to do,
Because finishing,
Can only be done by you.
