Spring -- Memories and Loss

by Hatori   Mar 22, 2007

Tomorrow is the day of Spring,
A happy time,
Full of smiles and glee.
Spring has the essence,
The pride,
No, the glory,
Of being the day,
When happiness is spread,
And when the snow finally begins to melt.

Since I am different,
I feel none of this joy,
All I feel is misery,
And the shadow of my grief.

When I hear the word Spring,
I duck down low,
I try to blend in,
As the tears begin to flow.

The reason of my misery,
Is as simple as could be,
I think of a man named Hatori,
And a young girl named Kana.

I suppose you'd call it jealousy,
Since her favorite season was Spring.
The jealousy that she knew him,
For what ever brief time could be.

Is it because Hatori still suffers?
The image of her causes him great pain?

I do not know,
I never will,
I guess it's not as simple,
As everything seems to be.

I cannot know him,
I cannot try to help,
I cannot do a single thing,
Except live in 3 months of misery.
The misery I call "Spring".

It may not make sense, but bear with me! If you know about Hatori and Kana, it should make sense :D.
