Why Did I Ask?

by x Mo x   Mar 23, 2007

Why did I ask?
Did I need to know?
For now my broken heart bleeds red
Across the clean white snow.

He finally gave an answer
That I, for long, have sought.
But once he said it,
I realized it's not what I want.

They say ignorance is bliss
I know that to be true.
'Cause now that I know
I don't know what to do.

I let my mind wander
Thinking this was all real,
Opening my heart to wounds
That will never heal.

I love it, reminds me of how I feel,
    wanting to know the truth,
but hurting like hell when I have found it,
    I love this part,

    I let my mind wander
    Thinking this was all real,
    Opening my heart to wounds
    That will never heal.

I have opened myself and I fear that my
mental wounds might never fade, wonderful poem.
