True Love

I thought I knew what love was
until I met you,
then I found out what it’s like
to have a love so true.

You came into my life
and turned it around,
It now has more meaning
with the love I have found.

You’ve touched my soul
so deep inside
You woke up my heart,
I thought that had died.

I hold you so close
deep with in my heart
that no one or nothing
could tear us apart.

You know how I feel
even when your not here,
you can feel my sadness
and even my fear.

So if this is what is meant
when they say there is true love
I am thankful everyday
for finding you with the help from above.
