Leaf in the Wind

by Romancing the Darker Side   Mar 25, 2007

She's a stereotype
Conformed, fit into a mold
She's taken back tears
Her heart can no longer hold

A cutter at least
In the suicidal form
Her friends call her strange
And out of the norm

She feels the true pain
For she has not one real friend
Tonight she writes a suicide note
Wanting this to be the end

The nights her Father beat her
The nights her mother swore
Made her feels like
A disgusting little w h o r e

She's just another leaf on the wind
She thought she could refuse to be bound
By what they all call her
But now, she's made a sound

She's lowering the knife to her heart
They all get ready for the show
That little leaf flies off quickly
And the wind continues to blow
