Camouflage

I call your name
You pretend to not have heard me
And after a couple of seconds
You answer me
In a voice so dry
As if you're annoyed
But I hear a slight quiver in your voice
I see your lips tremble
And I know you're just trying to hide
All the feelings inside of you
That you know would overflow
When you would have met my eyes

It's just camouflage

You won't look at me
Always looking away
Away from me
And I hear a sigh escape your lips
Fogging the window in front of you
And I know you're just trying to hide
The tears that are already falling from your eyes
Because i see the wet spot on your shirt sleeve
Where you have brushed your tears away
Deepening the black color of your shirt
Into an even darker color
So dark
So deep

It's just camouflage
