Not One Little Bit

by LostLikeTearsInRain   Mar 28, 2007

I never needed your pity
It's not like I asked you to care
I wonder if people meant what they said
When they told us we made the cutest pair

They probably just said that
To build up my hopes
Little did I know that they were bringing me down
With the strongest chains and ropes

They just wanted to drop me
From the highest floor
So that when I hit the ground
There would be blood and gore

If that's what they want
Then they can go ahead and have it
Would have I got to lose?
Loving you has become one painful habit

Something to which
I have become an addict
The sound of your voice
Is now only static

I'm free falling now
Just waiting to hit
But it won't change how I love you
Not one little bit
