Bleeding Tears

by Taylor Porton   Apr 10, 2004

Sitting in silence,
thinking of you
I wonder what went wrong,
What did I do?

I thought I'd move on,
and try not to care
But the pain's getting harder,
and too much to bear

So I cut deep with razors
to numb the pain inside
I've carved your name across my wrist
For I'd rather bleed than cry

I bleed not for you,
but for the pain you have caused me
Your heart is so cold,
at my own heart its sawing

I thought it would be forever,
That the "us" would really last
But I just need to remember,
that "This too shall pass"
