Lost in this cavity of the damned
damned to live life without you.
never will i feel the touch of your skin
the warmth of your lips
or the softness of your voice.
For you will never come near me
and I am lost without you,
never having you by my side.
How can love exist
when love comes never near me.
Each day I see a small glimmer
and each time the light is extinguished.
My heart longs for you once more
and once more you fade from existence.
Will you ever hold my hand?
will you ever whisper in my ear?
And so I sit and wait,
sit here alone in this cavity of the damned
