Alone in this world
as there is no one to hold me
no one to tell me that it will all be alright
I have no one around me
who feel as I do
for they have that some one
and they are being held tight.
dreams and sleep are restless
as time draws on on
and still I am alone
I have not found that perfect one.
Nothing mends this gap in my soul
the emptiness as I am left here
No one ever said what it is like
what it is like to be un-whole.
I wait still, for them to arrive
given up on searching
Is this my destiny
Is this what i am?
