Feeling

by Barbi Taylor   Mar 28, 2007

What a feeling
It is like cold water
Cold water washing away
The stress and Anguish
Of everyday life
It clarifies Pain and strife
The pain, it cuts
The strife, it burns
It makes it impossible to discern
What is going on around you?

Yelling, cussing, screaming, and throwing
They can all be blocked out with the wind blowing
And the rain falling
Now you hear your pestilence calling
You out, to fight

What a feeling
The cooling sensation
Of your obligation
To fight for what you believe
Now you are shaking because you are scared
Of what could happen
You are cold and tired
You feel like dieing
You are curled up in a ball crying
Now you hear voices

What a feeling
It is kind of creepy
A chemical surrounds you
Now you are sleepy
Hmm a sharp pain goes down your spine
You lose parts of your body
One at a time

Arms, legs, head, face
One by one leave this place
You ask why, and what is going on
But no ones around, everyone is gone

What causes these feelings?
Emotional stealings
Why it could be caused by love
Or sent from above
Questions are now reeling
Oh, what a feeling
