The great reveal

by Lenny   Mar 29, 2007

Too much time to waste,
Dreams are
Unrelated
Simple as something
That impeaches
Flesh orange
Sweet to the lip
Cut lip
Common threads
Braided rivers
Tumble in unfolding stories
Listen,
Listen to the missing
Carved hills
Shaped
Caressed into desires
The sweet intonation
Of the free
Drugged and happy
The drift
Wild to be dust
Dust blowing in the wind
Just so
Confided
In the worlds
The dreams
That made them
Into
Intoxicated puppets
Gleeful dancing
Upon the world
The stage
Never misbehaving
Got it all figured out
Give thanks
For those who hurt
Cuts blossom scars
On the fortunate
To instill lessons
Pain tickles chins
When split
On danced floors
Mudded toes swallowed
Drink the water
Sad days searching
Reminds me
Of waking
Waking to the world
Blurred past
In a bad day
A day of bright sun
And no discovery
If I drip long enough
I ll melt into the stream
And be home
To be deluded
Tension
Stones replacing drones
Of the ocean
Clay sinking
Waves smash then lap
Hold on
If you can
Or youll sink into
Life.

Stay,
Asleep, virgin land
And dont taste the dirt of dreams
Lap at unknowing for one song
Longer
And wait for the time to go
Cocoon and chameleon
Hidden is freedom
Sunday morning
We used to laugh a lot
But only because
We thought
The sky was blue
Not tears
And black scherzos
God weeps the loudest
And children
Break in two
With waking moments
When red becomes
Rainbows

As life is spawned

In the great reveal.
