Life of a dead rose

by Flying Phoenix   Mar 29, 2007

(Sorry had to repost as for some reason I couldn't edit this one)

Fragile frame of a beautiful soul
Life caught and twisted
Drawing, seething, seeking revenge
All from a sight to gentle to torment
From splendour comes sadness

Amidst this loss and perplexity
Sighs a breath of an eternity
Just from a moment of pure desire
Bewitched to the world
Freed a forest fire
Seized on the wind travels afar
Over mountains, molehills
Rivers and streams

Misery captured
And torn away
Far from the pit
Of the heart's true way
Manipulated and used
Thrown to the ground
Spat on by jealousy
Kicked at by spite
Nightmare surrounded

A wisp of love
A blossom grew
Out from the heart
That had been torn in two
Meandering stem
Fuelled by kind
Dark ash leaves
Spines entwined
There grew
A black rose of love

Thought this was brilliant, i loved it. Had an inner lying rythm to it that flowed brilliantly. Could also sense the emotion entwined within it.
    good job
