Sinking

by МÅťťђĕш Яĕĩŋĕßĕřg   Apr 10, 2004

Life has become a mud pit
And as I trudge through it
I find myself sinking
Down and down into the mud
I try to pull myself up
But the struggles sink me lower
Doomed to die in the slough
Soon to get pulled under

Can't Anyone throw me a rope,
I am losing hope from getting out
Slowly I become one with the mud
Deeper and deeper draining my spirit
I cannot keep going
For those around me weep
They see, never knowing.

The bog has pulled me down
I cannot get out
Down into the brown muck
I find myself sunk, down and down
I've fallen so far into this pit
I can't see the one come to save me.
