Blue eyed children

by Lenny   Mar 31, 2007

Mellow
The sounds
That weave
The words
Beading the necklace
Of teardrops
And mistrust
The blue eyed children
Fight another day

Rattled boxes
And desperate faces
Volunteer
The presumption
And coin
After coin drop
Hurried guest
Politeness,
Unbranded
Give unnoticed prayers

The misguided
Fund
The blue eyed children
Bead the necklace
Of teardrops
And mistrust

And the stained are unstained
In accidental act of kindness
As they give
Blue eyed children
Precious
Weapons.

Hey, i want to tell you that that poem was awesome, to be truthful i'm more fond of poems that rhyme, but i thought that was a wonderful poem, it is rare that even famous poets write unrhyming poems that i like and i guess i just want to tell you that i think your extremely talented, keep up the great work, you'll be famous someday!
