The Rain

I think Im just going
Let the rain wash over me
Let it hit every part
Of my ungrateful body
Watch it crawl
Down my arms
As if its trying to
Wash away all the
Things Ive done
Its no use though
It cant get more then
Skin deep
Maybe if I just sit here
It will distract me from all the
Sorrow and guilt
Ive held for so long
Maybe if I just sit here
My tears will
Turn to raindrops
Running down my face
Tears?
What tears?
I feel nothing but
The rain
So I think Im just going to
Let the rain wash over me.
