I'm Okay...

Here, take my bleeding heart
And tell me it will be OK
Take me as I am
Broken
Pick up the pieces
And sew them back together
It will take a lot of thread
Take my bleeding heart
And heal it
I know I'll be OK
Eventually
But for now,
Just leave me to bleed
In peace
And believe me
When I say
I'm OK
Don't look too deeply
I don't want you to know
How badly I'm hurt
I don't want you to see
How badly I'm bleeding
Because I have to much
Pride to let you know
That I still care..
Just believe me,
When I say
I'm OK
