My Seclusion

Lingering thoughts roam my mind
Dying passions run around blind
In Solitude things change
Thoughts of words become strange

Every echo strikes an emotion
From terror to insane devotion
In darkness lights appear
And the past can call back an old tear

So leave me in my dark seclusion
For once the door is pushed ajar
Its death to my happy illusion
And the fall of my only star
