I miss You

by Shelby   Apr 1, 2007

You left us in an instant.

No warning or goodbye.

You left us all here standing, With this crushing pain inside,

The fun you had that night, was it really worth all this

You traded your life so freely, For a drink you could have missed.

The choices that you made in life You thought they were your own.

But when choice turns to mistake, It affects more than you know.

What you did that night, Has changed so many lives,

It left us all forever, Standing asking why,

Just because you didnt drive Doesnt mean that you were right,

Because the friend that droves in jail, And your little sister cries at night.

The ones that walked away We hope they learned there lesson well,

You left us here behind, So your story we must tell.

Maybe others after hearing Wont cause the same type pain,

They wont drink and drive, Then you wont have died in vain.

In memory of my brother who died at 19. It was two weeks after we graduated, we were best friends. 6-14-06
