Beautiful

I just don't know,
I don't know how to explain,
Explain the reason why,
Why the world is this way.
Media and magazines,
Tell us how to act,
What to wear,
And who to be.
We follow every lates trend,
But we're not afraid to spend,
It's how we have to blend in,
It's the way we have to look so thin.
They give beauty a meaning,
But does it really have one?
Most of us are unhappy,
And not living life merrily.
When we look in our mirror,
It seems that things should be clearer,
It's just a piece of glass,
It's something we should surpass.
Beauty has no style,
What's beautiful is our smile,
Unimportant is the color of our skin,
What's important is who we are within.
