By a fingertip.

The train slowly crawls in,
I dart my head around the bustling crowd,
I scream for you and touch your skin,
Your ear hears a whisper, a soft sweet sound,
You flicker a smile.

I follow you and copy your footsteps,
You're busy on a business phone call,
You only have that job to pay your debts,
I hate you being lonely, i sink into a wall...

I giggle as you trip over a rock,
You softly "Shh" me, i lightly kiss your hand,
A lady looks at you in shock,
You say "Sorry, you wont understand."

You feel the warmth of my leg as i sit beside you,
Cautiously eating dinner in your empty dining room,
A tear falls onto your plate, i see the pain right through,
Find some one else my love, or the sadness will consume...

I tuck you into bed, and sing you a little lullaby,
You try to harmonize, singing the words in time,
The song stopped, you begin to cry,
"Do not worry, i know how badly you want to rewind, but i will see you, at the moment give this life a try."
I fly through the window waving goodbye.
