The journey i've become

by miss scooby   Apr 4, 2007

The journey I've become

Hard roads and stormy graves the journey I've become.
wild winds blown tears upon my sins
secrets mastered deny my screams within
to dramatic and pressured for some

The journey I've become.....

swallowed pride defeats thy sorrow
shameful powers crept beneath a stone
living today, yielding tomorrow
words thrash to each and quivering bone

the journey I've become......

Hit and run an attack the divested poet is back,
writing in tears of stories that release my power
strength and a helping hand i lack
watching my time tick, only to my last hour

aching misery grabs a hold of my skin
no longer knowing the girl within
belief in happiness darkness a toss and spin
my road was over my shame will begin

the journey I've become.......

a girl fighting to be a woman
attacked at a lethal angel
decrypted belief in all that i am
to hard to bare for some

the journey I've become.....
