Do you know what its like to be me

Do you no whats its like to be me
to no the things i no
to have to face up to them every waking day
for you its just another day
but for me its a lifetime of hell

being haunted by my dreams
having to be face to face with my past everywhere i go
something reminds me of the pain Ive endured
the easy way out is so easy to be lured

i go to sleep at night wishing i wouldn't wake in the morning
i think about grabbing pills from the cupboard swallowing them all
or grabbing that knife so shiny in the draw
i wonder how long it would take
for the pain to pass and be relieved from this life ever more

i walk down the street watching my step
always looking over my shoulder
to scared to go far alone
because being to far away is another step away from being near home
people judge me by the way i dress or act
but really do you even no wot its like to be me
