Where's My Soldier?

by Jennifer   Apr 5, 2007

I'm tired if all the lies
And I know my heart is tired of my cries
If only, if I simply had a soldier
A soldier that could and would shield from the heartache
this soldier would keep me from crying
He'd even keep me from tearing up inside
Because I cry
I cry when your looking
I cry when the world's not looking
But I cry
I drown myself in my tears
I drown my life in my pain
I'm hurting inside everyday
Where's my soldier?
My bright and shining armor that will save me!
save me from the cries,
save me from the lies,
save me from the cold nights,
save me from the clouds that always seem to come my way
Where's my soldier?
Doesn't he hear my cry?
Doesn't he hear me burn?
cause I'm tired of the lies
And God knows I'm tired of my cries!
So, where's my soldier?
