The Traveler

by Truett1   Apr 5, 2007

The traveler wanders the Earth,
Observer of Everything,

He watches over God's creations,
Learning more about his world with every step he takes,

He walks through large cities,
He travels through small towns,

He climbs tall mountains,
He swims across rivers and streams,

He fears not the wild or the raw,
He fears not the winter or the wind,

He fears not the summer or the dust,
He fears not the tiger or the bear.

He traverses the Earth and he knows it is his,
He knows the eagle and hawk,

He knows the river and waterfall,
He knows the mountain and plateau,

He walks through silently,
Always learning, always saturating his mind with knowledge,

A poor recluse,
His love is the Earth, his love is for God,

He knows all, he fears not,
He is the traveler, his love is for God.
