Rock Royalty

by Romancing the Darker Side   Apr 6, 2007

She's rock royalty
A literal punk rock princess
And yet she's still sad
They wonder about her distress

She sings songs of sadness and sorrow
Trying to reach out to another
The hatred she draws from within
Is that she received from her mother

A famous girl in a rock band
She's still all alone
The shallow songs she dares to sing
Become a silent drone

A razor touches her futile skin
They wonder why she's dead
"She was famous!" the cry, infamously
Her ghosts whisper on with her dread
