One Too Many Times

by Kayla   Apr 6, 2007

Swollen eyes
Help drift myself to sleep
Never felt so useless
This burning pain aches so deep

Each night I'm dieing
Simultaneously with my phone
Awaiting the ring of your call
Leaving my heart on its own

This tear-drawn pillow
Has taken all it will
Thoughts of you lingering
While time is standing still

My soul to you I've given
The "complaints" you still take
So why do you stick around?
There's nothing left for you to break.

Just set our love to rest
In the pieces you left untwined
This cradled love was shattered
On too many times.
