Because Of You

by Tamsin Francis   Apr 6, 2007

You hunt me down, go in for the kill,
I no longer wish to live, to die is what I will.
I take a pen, and write my goodbyes,
So many tears, so many sighs.

Once I have written my doubts and sorrow
And once I have seen my last tomorrow.
My belt I tie around my neck,
You have turned me into this nervous wreck.

My parents knock and knock once more,
When they see me they lay me on the floor.
When they see my little note,
They read aloud the words I spoke.

Do not miss me, or cry any tears,
For now I have ended my final fear.
Say goodbye to my one true love,
And tell him I am watching from above.

Is this what you wanted? For me to be dead?
Or would you rather me live in torment instead?
For now I am happy in a much better place,
The rest of my life was just a waste.
