Destiny

by AwakeInDreamin   Apr 8, 2007

It's three am and i lay awake,
hoping that this will be my big break,
I've practiced for so hard,
memorizing the words and emotions off the card,
this is my dream,
this is my destiny,
my fate can go either way,
a call back or a message replayed everyday,
to much has been left up to chance,
but my hopes and dreams are left up to one last glance,
to see my name on the call backs,
or to go home with all the broken tracks,
the life of an actress is fame and glory,
but thats only on the big screen.
This is no longer my Dream,
This is no longer my Destiny,
It is my goal.

My poem is saying how nerve racking it is for me as an actress.
its what i want to be and im good at it
but its just so nerve racking knowing you're going to be either rejected or accepted.
