You killed me

You laugh at me and tease me all day,
You act like I'm beneath you, simply in your way.
My teardrops become rain,
Shattered hopes, empty thoughts of you remain.
You caught my heart
On which you would feed
Then you threw it away
You laughed while watching it bleed.
Crying in my bed, alone in the dark
My time with you has left its mark.
I hope, in time, you'll see
That it was you that killed the love in me.
Death has come to take me away
Maybe you think of me again, someday.
In sorrow and grief I have drowned.
Ever since you started to put me down.
I am captured in eternal frost,

I was your angel, that's for sure
