Some call us desperate,
Because we're together everyday,
Some call us nerds,
Because we just smile and look away,

Some call us weird,
Because rumors have started,
Some call us protective,
Because he'll stand up-and I'm guarded,

Some call us oceans,
Because our feelings are up and down like tides,
Some call us sunshine,
Because when we walk in the room we shine,

Some call us ugly,
Because we wear sweats-and we don't care,
Some call us out there,
Because you can feel the magic in the air,

Some call us conceited,
Because we live like we're above,
Some call us crazy,
Because they know that we're in love.
