VIRGINIA TECH

by jenae   Apr 22, 2007

The thirty-two lives,
That were taken that day,
Were all questioned why,
Why'd it end this way?

The looks in their eyes,
Were hard to imagine,
Frightened and sorrowed,
Hearts tight and fastened,

What has come of this world?
Nothing has stopped!
Mother's are scared,
To walk one single block,

And the souls that were taken,
Had no reason why!
Their families' and friends',
Tough pride had died,

I'll hold my hand out,
To the families in pain,
With sorrow and love,
In hopes you'll do the same,

Virginia Tech,
Is hundreds of miles away,
But I'm glad love is shown,
In direction that way,

Hearts that are broken,
May not heal so soon,
But I hope all remember,
The world can change, too.
