When my day seems spoiled,
When I can't do anything right,
and my life is completely coiled,
I think of you.

When I think of the darkness that is always fighting to enter my life,
trying to take over to cause me pain and strife,
I think of you.

You are like an angel, a beacon of light,
that comes in to heal my spirit,
to settle my internal fight.
You calm my heart,
put me to rest.
Now I can thank you,
You are simply the best
