You Turned My World Upside Down

At one point in life,
I only wondered what the world would be like,
I never experienced it,
I only dreamt of it.
I wondered about you,
I thought of you,
I dreamt of you,
And I figured that I was in love.
It is a new point in life,
And you have turned my world upside down.
I don't wonder about the world any more,
I can run around and jump and play,
I experience the world, as I never have before,
The sky is blue,
It was always gray for me,
The grass that was brown
Is now a delightful green,
The wind that was always so cold,
Is now a warming breeze,
The mud that I had to stomp through
Turns into white sand with ease.
And now,
I don't wonder, think, and dream of you,
I see you everywhere,
I hear your voice inside my head,
I feel your presence in the air,
I taste your kiss on my lips,
And I welcome your embrace.
Since you arrived,
My world is upside down,
And you just have to know
That I love it.
