To live a lie

by Amanda   Apr 12, 2007

I fear what no one seems to fear. I have
The same sense of fear programmed into my
Being. On the other side, I fear a
Feeling deep within me. To live a lie
Of almost any proportion makes my arms
Quiver. Even the knowledge of this emotion
And or action is enough to freeze time
With fear. This feeling of being taken
Aback has a far more disabling power
Over me than any normal fear. No, I
Do not fear a spider or snake
Nor do I fear any object resulting
In my immanent death. What is a human
Life lived if it is not a true reality.
