Unworthy

All I want is one chance
one chance to make you happy
one chance to prove myself
but I cant even get that
Everyday I pray to God
that you will finally give me a chance
to show not only the happiness I deserve
but the happiness you deserve
dont you want happiness the way I do?
the way everyone on earth deserves to have it?
why am i so unworthy of the feeling?
The feeling written about in books
the feeling acted out in movies
the feeling that makes your t skip a bea
just by looking into someones eyes
and seeing that reassuring twinkle
but I must not be worthy of that
just like I am unworthy of you
my only question
is why?
