Dark Ice

by Wakiza   Apr 13, 2007

Blood red descent, away from the moon
away from the sun, and the sorrows, and gloom
Descend from life's petty solace and cares
away from the guilt and the on-looking stares
Down in the depths of the dark empty soul
alone with a light, just one, to hold
Free from the lies oppression and fears
away from the terrible harrowing years
Run from the pain and run from the stars
Run to the prison without walls or bars
Flee with illusion of looking for self
With only the light to free them from hell
