Mother to Daughter. ( Not really a poem, but kinda. ^.- )

by Painted By Colors llInLovell   Apr 13, 2007

She used to be the girl
Hidden behind her acne
The cheesy sweatervests
Kept her from the guys.
But Now she tells her daughter,
That it doesnt matter how you look,
Because 10 years from your High School years,
Those people who made fun of you,
Will still be immature,
And you, young lady,
Will be mature, and have a good family,
As long as you dont let those people go to your head.
