Go on

by Joanna   Apr 14, 2007

Soak your yard in kerosene honey
Just to say you did
And when you light it on fire the whole street looks
There's no telling when the next rain comes
So until the fire dies go on
Just go on
I heard pain heals with time
But I still dream in black and gray
Clocks melt while time slips through your grasp
You're not going to get any younger
Water under the bridge
Don't look back
So until the fire dies go on
Just go on
No an emotionless haze won’t do
I can't let you fail like that
How I love the words life and death
So seemingly meaningless to me
I'll never know what you mean by I love you
So until the fire dies go on
Just go on
