Doesn't Hurt

by Daz Mellow   Apr 14, 2007

Walk away,
Don't look back...
Yeah I'll just keep telling myself that.

Don't cry,
It'll be over soon...
When will I believe that?

Yeah just walk away,
Turn into a new direction.
He ain't worth the pain.
Don't make him the reason you walk in the rain.
Don't let him be the reason you fell,
Don't let him be the reason you cried...

Everything might not look the same.
Since theres tears running down your face.
And even the people closest to you,
Seem to look at you like you're strange.
Don't turn away,
Flash them a smile.

Cause this doesn't hurt.
And although the ache might seem it piles,
Don't let it totally bring you down.
Left a bruised and a broken heart.
Nothing major that self love wont mend.
And although it seems like the pain will never end,
Know that it wont last forever.

He can try to,
Tear you apart,
Break your heart.
Put a knife right through you,
Use you to end his misery.
Just shake it.
Show you his true colors,
You can take it.

Cause this doesn't hurt.
You can walk through the rain,
You wont feel the pain.
It will wash all the blood stains away.
And tomorrow is another day,
And you want to be there.
So really, this doesn't hurt.

*I wrote this while I was kind of in Writer's block. And the point of view of this is a person talking to her/himself in case you didn't already know. Hope you even like a little! ^_^
