I see before my eyes
Death and sorrow
A battlefield from long ago
Is this all earth has become
Too many lives are lost
Over simple things
Too many days are gone
We are running out of time
Life was made to coincide together
We were supposed to always
Be hand in hand with each other
Where are we going now?
Blood all around us
But do we ever care?
We see only what we have gained
We are blind to the blood upon our hands
Is all we come to killing blindly?
Is that really all we are worth?
The world is painted red from the blood we spill
We are destroying it ourselves
Life is a gift from god above
Yet we waste it for power over life
All we want is more and more
We are never happy
Asking too much for treasures
Yet the true treasure is in life itself
And we throw it all away
Life should not be taken by any human hand
So much time has been lost
We are going in circles
This is our one last chance
To right the wrongs of the past
We have all sinned but god is forgiving
You can still be welcomed
Take this chance and help
The world needs a leader of light
If you truly saw yourself
Would you ever forgive?
Gods gift is in his love
Be glad he gave you life
If you can change now
The world may follow
Take the chance
And do what you know is right
Life is precious yet we kill without a thought
Look into the eyes of others
These are people just like you
And you know they have the same thoughts to
War for power death for land
A circle never ending
Life for honor sin for gold
Is it the only way?
You can choose the path you take
And may others follow to
If for once you stop and listen
Then maybe you will finally see
Life is a wondrous thing
Do not be quick to take it
Think for once of others to
And give them a chance to live
Look around at death and sorrow
See what just one person caused
We are not forever bound
We can still be who we are
If you always listen to what other people say
You can never make decisions or be who you want to be
Life should not be wasted and now the choice is yours
Death can cause just sadness, but life can be full of joy
