Fires raging round the earth,

Lives consumed for blood and power.
In the shadows people cower
Death on a battlefield,
When will we ever yield?
I wonder as I sit at home
When will the rain ever come?
Wash away the blood and tears
Stains and scars from all the years.
Can we snap back?
To the kindness we now lack?
