It's Still There

by Anne Garcia   Apr 14, 2007

I can still remember,
the way you would hold me,
being held in your arms,
how I would fit so perfectly

I can still remember,
the way I would listen to your voice on the phone,
Listening to the stories you would share,
how, with you, I was never alone

I can still remember,
the way you would flash me that smile,
when we both would have to look away,
how I felt so selfless for a while

I can still remember,
the way your face would appear in my mind,
being alone at night,
with no particualr reason I could find

I can still remember,
the way you would hold my hand.
whether I was worried or sad,
or during those times that I can ' t stand

I can still remember,
the way your eyes would look my way,
while under the moonlight they would sparkle,
the ones that always left me with nothing to say

I can still remember,
the way I would dream of you,
while asleep in your arms,
and while you were asleep too

I can still remember,
all the things we used to do,
when we used to love each other,
the way that I still love you...
