We, the children

by Anne Garcia   Mar 29, 2009

We all are different,
But special in our own way
We all are beautiful,
To be ourselves anyday
We are, who we are
No one can change that
We always do our best
But to them, it's crap
We are told to open up
And to say what we say
But when we do that
It's always wrong in every way
We, the children
Will always surer
From the things that happen
The things we will always remember
We all start out stupid
Because we don't know
But when we try it
It just goes out to show
The world is lost
And it is unfair
It will just use us
And throw us out with no care
We can only trust one person
That one lives up above
Our one true friend
The one whom we all love
When everyone turns their back
Ones whom we love dearly
We should always remember that
You did this to yourself silly
We need to learn
Learn from our mistakes
In order to get the freedom we yearn
Their words of wisdom we need to take.
