Silence of the moon

by m00ngurl   Apr 14, 2007

Silver moon up above
Shine on me and send your love
Guide me through my troubled dance
And send me too a shadow trance

Into the darkness I shall hide
Coming out into a new light
Waiting for the one so right
To love me throughout my total time

Silence sat by the river that flowed from the cold mountain. The moon shone down on her like light breaking through the clouds, but in her mind similar but dark clouds covered her mind.
In the shadows of the woods that surround her, a man watched her everlasting trance, knowing soon when the moon became whole, her life would begin again.

Whispers echoed through the air, hope and fear swirled within her, would she find him again or lose him.

Life touched her between her brows, spreading the energy of the moons life to raise her again.

With her silken gown blowing around her with the breeze, she hears him, her coming fear.

“Dance for me the girl of the moon, it is my wish.” Without defiance as her rule she obeyed her commander, her lover so true.

Twirling soon with the rays of the moon, she loses herself in its calm everlasting loom.

Before she could realize a hand held her warm, a smile come upon her shinning face, soon followed suite with an enchanting kiss so sweet.
