Moongurl

Under the moon that shines

A girl seats on her own

Light guiding her through the way

To a place where she's safe, they all say.

Her heart broken again

Knowing that she's the vessel

Where love goes through

But never stays.

Love they say is the way,

In her mind she says it is not

It's just another way of dying

A slower, painful way of fading

Her soul so tired of finding

Knowing there is something

Weakening by the fight

To just get a sight.

Her mind battered,

Dreaming and thinking

For the one it seeks is somewhere near

But sensing nothing but the cold, cold night.

Like rain, or a waterfall deep in the forest,

Cascading tears cover her lovely face

Lost in thought of never finding the one she seeks

One who would give comfort and love, which she so very needs.

Behind in the shadows of the night

A hero and the darkness fight

Who would save the lady of the nightlight

The darkness or the man with the fire so bright?

Beyond the question so tense

Her love deep inside so hard to find

So hard for her to say

The true feelings she wish to portray.

The ones who say they love her, says she cares not

How do they judge the broken lady?

How do they know how she feels at night?

Or how hard she fights to get rid of the tears she wishes to cry?

In the place where she sits alone

She spends through the day

She ponders why her life is this way

All she gets is God says it is so to be.

Her love for the one who made her

Forgives him like he to her

Fear the love...for he is love...

Moongurl wobbled up to stand,

Her cried upon face looks upon the sad sea

The sea of tears she'd shed a quite long time

Each wave held the truth of her hearts wretched crime.
