Alone

by codie   Apr 15, 2007

Too much time,
To think of my mistakes,
My heart, my mind,
My soul, my body ache.
Without my love here,
I'm sure I'll soon break.
So I walk alone

Too much pride,
To get up and take the blame,
My heart, my mind,
My soul, my body feels the shame.
Since those dastardly days,
Nothing has been the same
So I walk alone

Too much pain,
To harbor the nightmares,
My heart, my mind,
My soul, my body barely fares
Nightly I scream,
In rememberance of scares.
So I walk alone

Too many cuts,
Deep to the bone,
My heart, my mind,
My soul, my body heavy as stone.
Since the day I failed you,
I walk this path alone,
All alone.
